     We believe that the deepest longings in each of our hearts can only be met in a genuine relationship with God.  That relationship is not secured through a rule-bound, treadmill performance that continually stretches to please the unpleaseable.  Instead, it is received as a gift.  It is a gift of mercy and grace.  It is a gift that sets us free from pretending that we are better than we really are.  It is a gift that sets us free to love others as we have received love from God.

     We long to be that kind of church -- the church Jesus envisioned as he poured his life and influence into his disciples.  We want to be a church that brings good news and great joy into people’s lives.  Our desire is that we become a church where…

¨       The worship is refreshing, and helps our hearts grow bigger toward God.

¨       People, not programs are our greatest priority.

¨       The teaching on Sunday morning is related to life on Monday morning.  

¨      People are growing in deep dependence upon God.

¨      You find authentic, honest friendships, not just friendly people.

¨      Compassionate care is extended to people who are in need.
